This is Petteri, the Finnish father of the family. I have been the host of Neitamo44 Apartment since 2017. In 2021, I retired after working for 33 years in the Finnish Border Guard at the Russian border. After that, I wanted to offer travelers experiences that are close to nature. With the brand new big and powerful Finnish turbo Lynx snowmobile, we take trips to the wild wilderness. Behind the snowmobile is a sledge for six people. Reindeer hides and blankets keep the passenger warm. I'm also an almost professional Aurora hunter. Almost all of my guests have seen Northern Lights. I also offer the opportunity for an authentic traditional Lappish dinner with an open fire in my wooden hut. Sauted reindeer, smoked mooses meat, self-picked mushrooms and various berries are a real experience. I will prepare dinner myself and tell about life in Lapland.
